Sorry for the extreme lack of updates on the site the last couple of months. Things have been happening at our MySpace page and we kind of forgot about this one. We are looking into giving this site a complete make over. It's not very pretty..

Summer tour

We're working hard on the upcoming summer tour. If everything goes as planned, we'll be playing all over the States and maybe some other cool places as well.
Our first confirmed date is in the Sanctuary tent in Cornerstone Festival. We are playing at midnight Thursday and will be hanging out around the festival the rest of the weekend. We're really excited about this. The date might change, but other than that, everything's confirmed. See you there!

We just wanted you guys to know that we will not be in Global Battle of the Bands anyway. We were expecting and looking forward to competing, but financial circumstances made it impossible for Arni to travel from Scotland to the Faroes. It's crap, we know, but unfortunately it just can't be done.

Hurricane Katrina initiative

Thought you might want to know that the Hurricane Katrina support initiative that Brauqet was part of managed to raise more than $200,000! Thank you to CD Baby, American Red Cross and all the other bands who were part of it.
A note from CD Baby:
"Just a short note to say THANK YOU for putting your CD sales in the Red Cross charity.
In the end, it raised a total of $165,060 over the last 7 weeks, sent directly to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund through our local Portland Oregon branch. (You should have seen their faces when we brought in that very first check, in person, for $113,000!)
We donated $40,000 of our own CD Baby money too, in case you were wondering. So - altogether, that's $165,060 from the artists, $40,000 from CD Baby = $205,060 donated. I hope it helps!"

Last summer we did a promotional photoshoot with Kristfríđ Tyril of nörd. Set in the cool surroundings of Göta two days after the G! Festival, the pictures came out great. We've uploaded the best of them for you viewing pleasure.
